Photos From PLAY T-Dance

Here are several of the familiar faces I ran into at PLAY T-Dance.The hallway leading up to the smoking area had better lighting where I was able to take these great shots with Kieron Ryan,Tony Vega,Peter Axel,Josh West,Troy Weakley and Julian Marshburn. There are more photos that I took which will be posted on Hump Day and Thursday.Monday, February 20, 2012
My Weekend In San Francisco

I had serious issues with the brand new Canon Powershot HS 100 which is why I took less photos at Sanctuary.DJ Blaine Soileau stepped in at the last minute for Ted Eiel who had an unexpected emergency.Blaine opened up even though he should have been the headliner and not DJ Theresa. The less said the better about her and that entourage which got me kicked out of the DJ booth. Most of the problems with the camera happened at the Mezzanine venue where PLAY T-Dance was held.I did get plenty of photos that I will be posting this week. Some are too hot for Facebook.Overall I did have a great time at both club events.

Presidents Day Weekend

The tradition continues with President's Day weekend now officially SF Bear weekend for those who miss IBR like me.Since I'm only going to be in San Francisco for Sunday evening there are 2 important club events to attend.Honorable mention goes to Fresh which is ending after 10 years.Too painful for me to go at this time.First up is PLAY T-Dance with DJ Steve Sherwood and later Gus Presents Sanctuary with DJs Ted Eiel and Theresa.Of course I'll bring the new camera and try again.

Rest In Peace Whitney Houston
At first I thought it was a hoax when I saw the tweet RIP Whitney Houston on Twitter. Then on my yahoo home page it was breaking news confirmed by her publicist.Whitney Houston,Iconic Pop Star, Dies at 48.The cause of death is not known.Who could forget the first time "I Will Always Love You" played? Her rendition of The National Anthem sent chills down my spine. In recent years Whitney Houston was in the news due to her struggles with drugs, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown.I had hoped she would return to the charts. The Freemasons did a great job remixing "Million Dollar Bill" from her last studio album,2009's "I Look To You" When Bryan Reyes did the Folsom closing party Real Bad last year I requested his remix of Whitney's "I Learned From The Best" Sad
